Growing up, I always joked that MacGyver was my daddy.

Just like the crafty hero from the 80s prime time drama, I’ve been known to engineer some pretty impressive things with a few spare items and my limitless imagination. I began Pretty Phenomenal Photo as a way to share my creations with others, and to give the gift that never goes out of style: memories.

I’m Jennifer Cruse, owner and operator of Pretty Phenomenal Photo. I spent years working in the hospitality industry. So when it comes to perfecting guest experiences, I know my stuff. But even though I excelled at my career, I craved a creative outlet. One that would allow me the room to flex my creative muscles. That, along with my love of photography and events, inspired me to start Pretty Phenomenal Photo.

The name “Pretty Phenomenal” is two-fold. One, the photos my clients create really are pretty. They’re bold, colorful and memorable. And two, I create an exceptional yet down to earth experience. With all of the challenges that come with planning and executing an event, I guarantee all my clients a big frills, no fuss service.

Pretty Phenomenal Photo is more than a photography business. What sets it apart from the others is my personalized service. I created Pretty Phenomenal Photo to capture memorable experiences for guests and document the most important days of your life. When I first started out, I catered to private events such as birthday celebrations and wedding receptions. But now I’m proud to say that I’ve grown to phenomenal new heights.
